Posting accounts file
The file Posting accounts (posting_accounts) gives the account of each posting account of the company. The documents post to these accounts, for example a receipt to the cash account and the control account of the customers.
Rules of the rows
- Write one row for each posting account. The key is
role_key. - The account must be an active posting account of the company with a type of the posting account. For example,
ar_controlneeds an account of the typeaccounts_receivable. - A migration needs these posting accounts:
ar_control,ap_control,default_cash,retained_earnings,opening_balance_clearingandmigration_rounding. Addemployee_controlwhen the company has employees as parties. - A posting account of a later module gives a warning. The system keeps it.
- Import the chart of accounts first.
A second file
A posting account that has an account already is an error. To change it, select Update rows that an import made, or change it on the page Posting accounts.
Rules of the file
- Row 1 has the column names. Do not change them. The data starts on row 2.
- Write the data on the sheet "posting_accounts". The system reads the sheet "posting_accounts", or else the first sheet.
- A column that is not necessary can stay empty. You can remove a column that is not necessary.
- A file can have at most 100,000 data rows and 20 MB. Put more data in more than one file.
- Codes and other text: write them as text. Excel keeps a code such as 001 only in a text cell.
- Y means yes and N means no. A list column takes more than one value, separated by ";".
- Do not write formulas. The system reads the values only.
